There are a lot of great podcasts out there showcasing the work of established authors. I always felt like it was a case of the rich getting richer. There are thousands of new books published every day. Most go unnoticed by the world at large.

This is a shame.

I started NWP with the intention of helping lesser-known authors reach their target audience.

Unfortunately, it isn’t easy for a writer to find time in a busy schedule between working a full-time job and creating their next masterpiece to sit down and talk to some jackass on the internet.

After a few months of trying, unsuccessfully, to make a run at regular interviews, I gave up on NWP. I told myself it was a pipedream.

But, I couldn’t let well enough alone. So, I’m back.

My mission is still to help writers reach their audience, and I will focus mostly on that. Mostly this will be in the form of book reviews for indie authors.

I will also be documenting my journey as an author in hopes of encouraging others to do the same.

I hope you’ll stick around and enjoy the experience.

Thank you,

Matt Brotherton
